{"id":9950,"date":"2026-07-02T16:31:54","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T14:31:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.intelligentia.eu\/?p=9950"},"modified":"2026-07-02T16:31:54","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T14:31:54","slug":"urban-regeneration-and-renewable-energy-planning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intelligentia.eu\/it\/notizie\/urban-regeneration-and-renewable-energy-planning\/","title":{"rendered":"Feasibility study for UR2EP Platform: Urban Regeneration and Renewable Energy Planning"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]We are pleased to announce the signature of the agreement with the European Space Agency (ESA) and the start of the project activities of the <strong>UR2EP Platform \u2013 Urban Regeneration and Renewable Energy Planning Platform<\/strong>, developed under the ACCESS BASS \/ Proof of Concept Study.<\/p>\n<p>UR2EP aims to explore and validate a digital decision-support platform for urban regeneration and renewable energy planning.<\/p>\n<p>The service will integrate high-resolution geospatial data, satellite imagery, LiDAR data, OpenStreetMap, cadastral information and local datasets, together with data fusion algorithms, image analysis techniques and Artificial Intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>The platform will be designed to provide municipalities, Renewable Energy Communities, real estate and industrial operators with operational tools to identify abandoned or underused areas, assess rooftop photovoltaic potential, monitor territorial assets and generate dashboards and technical reports supporting planning activities, funding applications and investment decisions.<\/p>\n<p>The Proof of Concept activities will involve selected stakeholders representing the main target user segments and the validation of a Minimum Viable Product on pilot areas in the Province of Benevento &#8211; Italy.
